BEAFRIKA Youth Leadership Summit: Empowering Youth. Building Leaders. Transforming Communities.

The BEAFRIKA Youth Leadership Summit 2026 brought together young people for a day of learning, connection, and meaningful conversations centered around leadership, personal development, cultural identity, and community engagement.

Under the theme “Empowering Youth. Building Leaders. Transforming Communities,” the Summit highlighted the importance of equipping young people with the knowledge, confidence, and sense of responsibility needed to become active contributors to their communities and future leaders.

The Summit was honored to welcome H.E. Queen Dr. Josiane Djateng and Mr. Emmanuel Kafe, Representative of the Embassy of the Central African Republic, whose participation brought an important community and diplomatic perspective to the gathering.

Participants also had the opportunity to engage with a distinguished panel featuring Laurice Djepeno, Williams Djepeno, and Nadege Ilboudo. Through their perspectives and experiences, the panelists contributed to conversations encouraging young people to reflect on leadership, responsibility, identity, and their role in shaping their communities.

The Summit emphasized that leadership extends beyond titles and positions. It begins with developing the confidence to take initiative, the responsibility to serve others, and the willingness to contribute positively to one's community.
